The body works in cycles, NOT haphazardly. If we work WITH our bodies’ cycles, once we understand them, we would operate smoother like a well oiled machine. When we work against them, you hear of problems like indigestion, constipation, bloat, gird, lack of energy and even disease. On a daily basis we go through 3 cycles: taking in food which is called appropriation, absorption of those nutrients from the food is called assimilation and then eliminating what we took in after the body is finished extracting the nutrients (including billions of dead cells) is called elimination.
What role does being constipated play in your life? Is it just something to laugh about? Is moving your bowels still the forbidden thing to discuss? Does anybody ask you during the last week a life-saving question like “Does your poop float?” or “Did you poop today?” Are you thinking about what’s going to come out as much as how much you think about what’s going in (eating!)?? You better re-think these funny but Not So Funny thoughts and questions as your life may depend on it.
Our Gut, also known as the microbiome, is where the “friendly bacteria” live. The friendly bacteria actually makes up 70-80% of our Immune system. This area called our ‘Gut’ IS our “Conductor”. The “Instruments” are our organs. The conductor tells each organ when to play, for how long and with what degree of intensity. There are 2 definitions or opinions on what constipation is and how many bowel movements a day is considered normal. General mainstream medicine has stated 3 bowel movements a week is ok but never really makes clear what is good for health or why. Natural medicine (and common sense) says one bowel movement after each major meal is what should happen for optimal colon health. Since most Americans eat 2 major meals a day, 2 bowel movements a day is what you should be having.
EVERYTHING! While most women deal with some form of constipation and 95% of Americans are fiber deficient, the health of the colon (directly effecting Your complexion) is almost always overlooked. Fix the root of the problem not the fruit! Don’t keep addressing the symptoms (they will keep coming back) as mainstream medicine does. Fix the root of problem and watch gorgeous skin appear. How do I achieve a healthy colon?? A healthy colon is directly influenced by moving your bowels daily and having adequate fiber in your diet (your poop should float) AND going 1 to 2 times a day (once after each major meal).
The only ‘experience’ you want to have is a few minutes in and out of the bathroom, easy delivery, low toilet paper usage and finish with a genuine smile! While bowel movements are a great source of h umor (and that is good too) the Colon IS the foundation to the house, and affects the entire body. What’s the Ideal Day? 1 to 2 bowel movements, easy delivery, floating (yes, you want ships and not submarines!) low paper usage (when you’re clean inside, you’ll know it) and a skip in your walk because you will feel THAT good.
Cleansing the colon is such a powerful (foundational) way to create better health. One famous natural healer and nutritional evangelist stated after seeing thousands healed of incurable diseases during his lifetime “when you cleanse the bowel, over 90% of all diseases disappear”. Knowing it takes something strong to motivate people we have decided to put it on the line to encourage you to begin. When you first feel how good it feels after doing a bowel cleanse you will skip to the mailbox instead of walk.
Enemas can be done at home by you. They are used to give relief for constipation, for cleaning out the lower bowel, for detoxing and general over all health benefits. Enemas can use water or coffee. An enema bag / kit can be found at your local pharmacy for around the $10 range. A homemade enema is really easy to do and has many benefits, including an overall feeling of relief and well being. If you’ve never done one, take notes! You should have in the enema bag water or coffee that is body temperature. The water should be pure if using water. The coffee should have caffeine and be certified organic if using coffee. You DO NOT use decaf, you must have caffeine in the coffee, it’s what does the work.
Constipation is when bowel movements are infrequent and/or hard to pass. Although everyone can suffer from constipation, there are certain groups that are more susceptible to it. For example, women report more problems with constipation than men. Yet, the need for relief for constipation tends to be most common in people over the age of 65 who have decreased their physical activity and increased their level of medications.
